Shai Guitar — Automated Course Offers & Coupon Workflow

Shai Guitar needed a clear journey from its free guitar mini-course to the paid Ultimate Guitar Bundle. Each learner needed an individual offer with a defined expiry, automated follow-up and straightforward redemption. The implementation had to work within the Wix Online Programs customisation constraints encountered during the project.

Built a Velo coupon workflow triggered by free-program signup. Each learner receives a unique 50% discount offer for the complete bundle, valid for 48 hours, through an emailed personal link. The offer page validates the logged-in member and coupon, displays a countdown and applies the discount automatically when the learner proceeds to Wix Pricing Plans checkout. After the initial window expires, automation refreshes the coupon code, extends validity by another 48 hours and emails the learner. Coupon details and expiry dates are recorded in Wix CMS.

Wix Velo backend coupon generation and updates, Wix CMS coupon records linked to contacts, member-specific offer validation, expiry countdowns, Wix Automations email workflows and automatic coupon application to Wix Pricing Plans checkout. Coupon validity is synchronised with stored expiry dates and redemption is limited to one use per customer.

The workflow gives free-course learners a clear route to the paid bundle while automating individual coupon creation, delivery and follow-up. Automatic discount application removes manual code entry at checkout, and member validation and expiry tracking keep offers tied to the intended learner and promotion window.
